While we feature hunting at Summit Lake Hunting Preserve, we're named for Summit Lake and the lake is waiting for those of you who prefer to enjoy the great outdoors fishing

We provide the lake and the fish. You provide your own boat and the fishing tackle.

As a natural lake in Northern Indiana you can catch these types of fish in our lake:

• Crappy: we have good size 12 to 14 inch fish in the lake.
• Blue Gill: we have large 8 to 10 inch fish.
• Sun Fish: we have plump 8 to 10 inch Sun Fish for your fishing pleasure.

There is a limit to your catch and a minimum size. Those are set by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Since we're a private reserve, fish are always in season.
